Construction & Design
The bail is constructed from heavy-duty steel pipe and hot-dip galvanised for exceptional strength and durability. A stainless steel front cover houses the control unit or indicator display, providing secure and practical positioning for the operator.
The bail dividers are manufactured from two heavy-gauge box sections, with the lower section incorporating a stainless steel manifold for the milk and pulsation pipes. This design reduces the amount of rubberware required per unit, helping lower annual service costs.
The narrow bail design allows more units to be installed within the available space, maximising parlour capacity. Integrated jetter cups are also built into the bail for quick and convenient attachment and removal.
Comfort
The bail unit features smooth, rounded lines to improve cow comfort as animals enter and exit the rotary. Its low profile allows cows to step easily onto the deck, promoting faster entry and a calmer, more relaxed exit.
The design also allows cows to lift their heads over the bail while backing out of the unit. When feeding on the rotary, head dividers help prevent cows from crowding, while stall dividers reduce pushing and bullying between animals.
Together, these features create a comfortable environment for both cows and operators while supporting smooth cow flow through the parlour.
Technology
All rotary bail units can be installed with a basic cluster remover and upgraded over time to the Vision Global LED system, enabling advanced management of both herd and parlour operations.
