Our History

On March 1st 1948 Eric Pearson started trading, selling bucket units and pipeline machines.

Pearson installed their first 30 degree herringbone parlour in Co. Wicklow.

Pearson manufactured electric and compressed air feed systems to meet the growing demand for in-parlour feeding.

1982 marked the beginning of international export for Pearson Milking Technology, with the first exports going to Egypt.

In 1995 Pearson began to manufacture Express Fit milking parlours. This allowed for machines to be factory built and tested before delivery.

Further expansion into the UK market where we established our UK distributor network.

The 2010s saw accelerated innovation from Pearson Milking Technology. This included the development of remote log in technology to allow our specialists access any milking parlour to monitor and give remote assistance. During the 2010s herd management systems for large herd dairies were developed. This innovation was aided by the opening of the new Pearson Milking Technology Global Headquarters in 2016.

With growing milk requirement globally, Pearson Milking Technology, expanded into South Asia and continued with agtech R&D. This lead to their Automated Body Condition Scoring Technology, Bullseye, winning the overall prize at the Enterprise Ireland Innovation Awards in 2022.
