Performance
The retention bar system helps maximise the performance of the rotary table. Once the cluster is attached, the retention bar lowers to keep the cow in position. If a cow is milking slowly, the bar prevents her from exiting at the normal exit point.
When milking is complete, the retention bar lifts, allowing the cow to exit the platform when the exit point comes around again.
Durability and Control
Retention bars are manufactured from industrial nylon and stainless steel to ensure long service life and excellent resistance to corrosion. The system can be operated using either vacuum or compressed air.
Intelligent Retention
The retention bar system can be integrated with the ProFarm system for intelligent control of the rotary table. The system monitors milk flow, yield, and cow health during milking. If any irregularities are detected, the retention bar lowers just before the exit point, bringing the cow back to the operator for inspection.
