Hi-Flo System

Performance

The Hi-Flo system transports milk efficiently through the delivery line using centrifugal force. An impeller within the pump head rotates to move milk smoothly along the pipeline and into the milk tank.

Durability

The Hi-Flo milk pump features a stainless steel pump head and impeller, ensuring excellent durability while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Milk Cooling

When combined with the MDrive variable speed system, the pump speed can be reduced to slow milk flow through the plate cooler. This allows milk to reach the bulk tank at a lower temperature while also reducing energy consumption from the tank compressors.

Posi-Flo System

Performance

The Posi-Flo system is designed for efficient milk transfer while cooling and removing froth from the receiving vessel in the milking pit. Using positive displacement technology, a flexible impeller inside the pump head rotates to move milk smoothly through the delivery line to the milk tank.

Milk Quality

The Posi-Flo pump gently draws milk from the receiving vessel and pushes it through the delivery line to the milk tank. This process helps minimise the breakdown of milk solids, supporting improved milk quality and helping maintain higher protein and fat levels.

Milk Cooling

When combined with the MDrive variable speed system, the pump speed can be reduced to slow milk flow through the plate cooler. This improves cooling performance at the bulk tank while also reducing energy consumption from the tank compressors.

MDrive Variable Speed

Milk Cooling

The MDrive system controls pump speed to reduce milk flow through the plate heat exchanger during milking. Integrated cooling software uses specialised speed algorithms to determine the optimal pump speed, ensuring maximum efficiency from both the plate cooler and milk pump.

Options

MDrive systems can be installed on milk pumps of any size and are compatible with both single-phase and three-phase power supplies.

Washing

During the washing cycle, the MDrive system automatically increases pump speed to efficiently return wash water to the wash vessels, improving overall washing performance.

Safety

All MDrive systems are supplied with industrial-grade H1 filters, pre-installed to prevent harmonic voltage from the drive units.

Milk Receiving Vessels

Strength

Stainless steel receiving vessels and moisture tanks provide the capacity required for efficient milking in parlours of all sizes.

Udder Health

A large-capacity moisture tank positioned close to the milking system creates a strong vacuum buffer. This minimises vacuum fluctuations, maintaining a stable vacuum to support good udder health.

Hygiene

Both tanks feature transparent end caps for easy inspection during cleaning. The barrel-shaped design allows the Daytona Air Blast Wash system to create a rolling wash action, ensuring thorough cleaning of the receiving equipment.

Reliable Level Monitoring. Built for Dairy

Pearson systems utilise pharmaceutical-grade LMT level sensors for accurate vessel monitoring. With no moving parts, they provide exceptional reliability, precise measurement, clear LED indication, and long service life with minimal maintenance. Ideal for milk, CIP solutions, and other dairy process fluids.

Milk Filtration & Cooling

Milk Filtration

Stainless steel inline sock filters play an important role in filtering milk before it reaches the plate cooler or bulk tank. The filter consists of a double-stitched filter sock fitted over a stainless steel coil spring and housed within a stainless steel casing. A full range of filter sizes is available to suit all milk pump flow rates.

Plate Cooling

Plate cooling efficiently reduces milk temperature before it enters the bulk tank. Using an average ratio of 2.5 parts water to 1 part milk, milk temperature can be reduced to within 2°C of the incoming water temperature.

  • Single Stage Cooling – Well water or mains water passes through the cooling plates to reduce milk temperature.
  • Double Stage Cooling – Well or mains water cools the first stage, while chilled ice water cools the second stage. When combined with the MDrive variable speed system, milk temperature can reach 4°C before entering the bulk tank.

Water Saving

A water solenoid fitted to the inlet side of the plate cooler automatically shuts off the water shortly after the milk pump stops. This reduces water consumption and prevents unnecessary water from being sent to holding tanks or wasted.
