Monitoring the cows milk is an important part of monitoring a cows health. The Milk Conductivity sensor measures the consistency and texture of the milk on an individual cow basis. This information is stored in the herd management software to create a view of the cows m ilk quality. If a reading from the sensor is above a set percentage depending on the stage of the cows lactation the keyboard in the milking pit and the herd management software will alert the farm manager. If the conductivity stays high the cow can automatically be drafted after milking.
